Always a pleasure to work with Ludwig Göransson, and doubly so this time. This was a chance to try some new techniques with contact mics, new patches for the Kyma, and contribute to a really energetic and dark score.
It was also a reunion of sorts, as I was able to collaborate with another sound designer and longtime friend Anthony Baldino. Our friendship goes all the way back to college, but the last major movie we worked on together was Mother and Child almost 10 years ago. He’s a fantastic synthesist and composer, so it was inspiring to get to join forces again. Check out his work here.
